Old Dy’vorians Association Membership
New Members paying by Standing Order – Pay nothing until January 2019!
The Old Dy’vorians’ Association has always welcomed new members and is open to all who have a connection with “Dynevor” either as pupils or staff from 1930 to 2002, when the School closed. The annual membership fee is £10 and New Members paying by Standing Order will pay nothing in their first calendar year of membership.
The closure of Dynevor School in 2002 saw a surge in numbers joining the Association with interest coming from all age groups and from many countries overseas, as well as from within the U.K. When the School closed there were only 107 members, but currently this number stands at about 550. Anyone interested in joining the Association should contact Membership Secretary, Peter Samuel, on 01792 230076 or via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annual subscriptions are usually paid by Standing Order with an initial payment made on joining and subsequently on 1st January each year. This year, however, we are pleased to announce that there will be nothing to pay until January 2019 for new members joining this active organisation.
The joining process is simple. Please download the Standing Order Form by clicking ODA Standing Order Form – Offer to 2020 and then post to our Treasurer:
9 Croftfield Crescent
Telephone: 07720 251639
For those preferring to pay by cheque, please complete the Personal Details only on the Form and send with your payment to the Treasurer, Steve Way, as above. Payment by cheque requires that the full annual subscription is paid in full immediately.
We want the Association to remain a key focal point for all Dy’vorians and our Membership Secretary, Pete Samuel, is always available to answer any queries you may have and to explain the benefits of membership. These include two copies of The Dy’vorian magazine in the post each year, free access to the Members’ Area of our website, http://www.dynevorrevisited.org.uk/members-area , with its Directory of all members, our Annual Dinner, our Golf Day at Clyne and a Members’ Day at the Swansea and West Wales Cricket Festival when Glamorgan visit St Helen’s.
The Association is always pleased to help Dy’vorian members get in touch with each other. However, we recognise that acceptance of such a request always remains the prerogative of the individual ‘to be contacted’. Therefore, when requests are received, the details of those making the request are passed to the would-be recipient with the final decision lying with that person.
Anyone interested in joining the Association should contact Membership Secretary, Peter Samuel, on 01792 230076 or via email@example.com.
